Decentralization to the provinces is the most effective way to solve real estate issues

No translation in your language yet — showing the English version

In the bullpen, people talk about unlimited supply and property taxes, but this is from the perspective of people who own or intend to own homes in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province.
This is because if we decentralize to the provinces, it is certain that the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas will suffer losses; therefore, those who want their assets to continue trending upward are the ones talking about supply. This is because new market entrants must continuously appear for real estate prices to maintain an upward trend.
If industries, education, and administrative functions concentrated in Seoul and Gyeonggi are decentralized to the provinces, we could solve most of the current problems in South Korea (housing shortages, low birth rates, overcrowding stress).
However, whether it is the President or members of the National Assembly, they won't be able to do it. Since residents of the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas make up more than two-thirds of the total population, they will be too afraid of losing votes to act.
In a broad sense, decentralization to the provinces is a plus for the national interest, but because individuals will inevitably suffer losses, those affected will never even bring up the topic of decentralization.
