Tell the United States to oppose Taiwan independence.

No translation in your language yet — showing the English version

It has been reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping
pressured U.S. President Donald Trump to make an official
statement opposing Taiwan independence during the
U.S.-China summit held at the White House.
The two leaders are also known to have exchanged views
on the Korean Peninsula issue, but the specific details
of their conversation have not been disclosed.
According to Xinhua News Agency, during the meeting,
Xi Jinping stated, “The United States must adhere to
the correct position of opposing Taiwan independence,”
and added, “The prudent handling of the Taiwan issue
will serve as a solid foundation for strategic
cooperation between the U.S. and China.”
This was a demand for stronger language than the
U.S. government's existing position.
In China's demand for the United States to oppose
Taiwan independence, I see

the People Power Party's behavior in demanding that
President Lee Jae-myung promise not to seek re-election.
Looking at what the People Power Party is doing, they are no different from China.
