I've tried all kinds of seasoned chicken brands, but Pelicana is definitely number one

I've experienced all sorts of brands in my life,
but Pelicana is definitely number one.
Regardless of whether the quality varies by location, they all receive the same sauce from headquarters, and that sauce is simply unrivaled.
It's not just a feeling of "this is old-school style seasoned chicken";
I suspect Pelicana's sauce uses garlic.
The unique balance of sweet and salty, the umami, and the nuttiness are on a whole different level.
And I feel that Mexicana is clearly the runner-up.
Mexicana is strangely a bit lacking compared to Pelicana.
Regardless of the specific location, no matter where you eat it, it always feels strangely like a second-tier brand.
Mexicana definitely has a difference compared to other seasoned chicken brands, excluding Pelicana.
And all those small and medium-sized chicken brands acting up, claiming they're imitating Pelicana's old-school seasoned chicken—
once you actually try them, they can never match that taste.
It's not just about making the sauce thick. The nuttiness is different.
Cheogajip is on a different wavelength; unlike Pelicana, their sauce seems a bit softer.
It feels like it's for kids and women. Most middle-aged men will likely prefer Pelicana.
