Regarding the complete overhaul of the investigative powers, it's not right to blame the police investigators....

Whenever the media conducts field investigations on investigators and reports on them, there has been a lot of dislike and concern among the investigators themselves.
To be honest, why would investigators actually want the supplementary investigation power?
If the supplementary investigation power is abolished, their workload and responsibility will increase tremendously, and this doesn't even help with promotions.
This isn't something the frontline police officers like; it's something the police leadership likes because their own authority is increasing.
Sometimes when I say this, people easily say, "Then why don't they criticize it publicly or voice their opinions? Why didn't they do that either?"
But I ask you to put your hand on your heart and think about how many of you could actually blow the whistle on your company to the media or the public regarding an unfair decision made by your boss or the company.
This is something the police leadership pushed for to increase their own authority.
The investigators have become pitiful now. In the past, there was a belief that even if they missed something, the prosecutor would supplement it through a supplementary investigation, but now they have to complete everything perfectly before submitting it.....
Prosecutors and police keep trying to apply politics or power structures to the frontline field, but that is strictly a power game played by the organizational leadership; those on the frontline, whether prosecutors or police, are too busy just handling their own work.
