President Lee's SNS is dangerous

The number of posts President Lee Jae-myung uploads to X (formerly Twitter) has increased significantly since September. This is at a level incomparable to any previous president. President Lee is a symbolic figure of "SNS politics," maintaining the "Lee Jae-myung style" that has continued since his time as Mayor of Seongnam and Governor of Gyeonggi Province. While it is understandable that he feels a sense of urgency to increase direct communication, judging that even unfair attacks are coming from within the pan-opposition camp, the President's SNS is on a completely different dimension in terms of message impact compared to his time as a local government head or opposition leader.
Among President Lee's recent posts, the expression "coolly" (jwa-ah-ge) aimed at his supporters was highly inappropriate as a language of unity. The passage where he wrote to supporters, "We must navigate this ourselves," could be perceived as an intention to mobilize the support base for public opinion warfare. President Lee also caused controversy by uploading confidential documents. In the part where he mentioned the "incitement of irresponsible extremists," he only appeared immersed in internal party conflicts. His repeated posting of opposition to the candidate for the head of the Serious Crime Investigation Agency to refute them even drew reactions such as, "Does the President have nothing better to do?" While the President's SNS may seem desirable in terms of active communication with the people, the accumulation of unrefined messages will inevitably return as a risk.
