The screen quota system should be abolished

‌Movie theaters are going bankrupt,
yet the domestic film industry is stuck producing nothing but movies like "Assassins"
The screen quota system was implemented decades ago to save the domestic film industry, but it still can't compete on its own?
It's like being allowed to live in a rental apartment, but when the lease is up and you're told to leave, you claim you'll die because you lack the ability to survive elsewhere.
If they've been protected this long, they should have developed the ability to stand on their own feet by now.
