There are so many handmade burger joints with terrible consistency

I've tried various places, but I'd much rather eat at Burger King for the value.
There are many places that aren't even as good as a random Burger King you'd find in any neighborhood.
On top of that, many are more expensive yet serve smaller portions than a Whopper.
