It reminds me of the children's movies Spielberg produced in the 80s

What was unique about Spielberg's trajectory in the 80s was that
he produced a huge number of children's movies primarily by using other directors,
while the films he directed himself tended to lean towards drama or art house cinema.
Since Spielberg wasn't the director of those children's movies,
surprisingly many people don't realize they were actually Spielberg films...
The company that released these children's movies
was Amblin Entertainment, which produced Spielberg's E.T. in '82.
They continuously released action films targeting children,
such as the Gremlins series, Back to the Future series, The Goonies, Big, and Hook.
Of those, Hook was the last one, which Spielberg himself directed...
After releasing family-oriented films like this for 10 years,
this company released a blockbuster in '93, which was Jurassic Park...
