Luck seems to be on Lee Hyun-jung's side
Even though his performance in the Summer League wasn't entirely satisfactory,
he secured an exhibit10 contract under decent terms.
Now, he has won an international tournament right before his NBA training camp.
Tomorrow, Houston will be the first to hold its media day and begin training camp,
while other teams, including Portland, will start next week on the 28th and 29th.
Because the Asian Games basketball schedule started much earlier due to the Japanese domestic league schedule,
he can have about a week of breathing room to prepare after the championship win, which is a huge plus.
In previous tournaments, the basketball finals would have likely ended in early October,
which would have delayed his team integration and perhaps even made signing with Portland difficult.
Circumstances are turning out in his favor. While I'm not sure how many opportunities he'll get during the preseason,
I really hope he hits his three-pointers properly this time.
