Has the Certified Appraiser exam become much easier recently?

A female friend of my friend attends Seoul National University of Education, and apparently, last year, she told my friend something along the lines of, "You can pass the Certified Appraiser exam with just a little bit of preparation." When I heard this from my friend one day last year, I thought to myself, 'The grades for teachers' colleges have dropped significantly, so she probably didn't enter with top marks either—where does she get that confidence?'
A few days ago, while I was on the subway, I overheard two female college students having a conversation nearby, and they were saying almost the exact same thing as the student from Seoul National University of Education mentioned above. They were saying things like, "I'm preparing for the Certified Appraiser exam, and it only takes a little bit of study." I was so curious about which university they attended that I tried to sneak a few glances to gather information, and it turns out they are majoring in French Language and Literature or French Language and Culture at Chung-Ang University.
Has the Certified Appraiser exam become so easy recently that even students from mid-tier universities in Seoul look down on it?
