Regarding "The Assassins"
I haven't watched the news during the holidays, so I'm not sure what happened with the protests near Yoo Hae-jin's residence, but I just want to say that it's truly unsightly behavior and they should stop.
I haven't seen the movie, so I don't know the exact plot, but based on what I've heard, I believe it falls well within the scope of what can be produced.
When I was younger, I watched Oliver Stone's JFK and Nixon. In the case of JFK, it adopted minority viewpoints and raised various questions.
As for Fahrenheit 9/11, which was released less than three years after 9/11, it was a piece of work that made me wonder, "Is it okay for a movie like that to be released by our standards?"
So, I don't see what the problem is with something like "The Assassins."
On the contrary, let's agree not to make a peep even if movies like "Lee Jae-myung's Women" or "The Truth of Owl Rock" are released.
