Do people still look at things like photocards a year later?

‌I think things like celebrity photocards or
Pokémon stickers are completely useless.
Collecting them might be fun, but
I wonder if it's worth buying expensive CDs that you don't even need
or buying bread you won't even eat only to throw it away.
Do people actually keep looking at those things a year later?
You can just look at photos on the web or your mobile phone.
When something is trending,
people collect things like Rescene bread or Minumsa bread photocards,
but once the trend is over, aren't they just difficult-to-dispose-of trash?
