Writing down the impressive hotels I visited this year after seeing the post about hotel key cards
Hello, this is Snail Butler.
Even though it's a holiday, I came into work because I have a lot of backlog,
and during my break, I saw a post about hotel key cards in the bullpen, so I decided to organize the impressive hotels I visited this year.
January
Fairmont Seoul, Yeouido—I went there to use my Accor Suite Night Upgrade.
It's a brand I already love, but it was my first time at the Yeouido Fairmont, and since it was a suite, the room was spacious and quite nice.

February
Grand Mercure Phuket Patong
I went there without much expectation, but since it was a pool access room, it was great for playing around.

Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach,
There are a total of four Pullmans in Phuket... and this was the most satisfying one among them.
The water color was quite good for being on Phuket mainland, and it was in a great location for taking Phi Phi Island tours.

Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach,
This was the most expensive hotel I visited in Phuket, and it was also quite good.

March
Grand Hyatt Jeju
It was a short one-night spring flower trip, but I'm grateful to this hotel for upgrading me to a suite.
Since I got a high floor, the view was refreshing.

March
Andaz Maui
It was a shame the weather was cloudy, but the four-tier terraced infinity pool was magnificent, and every single food item was delicious.

Grand Wailea, Waldorf Astoria
Another hotel in Maui... This was during the Kona Storm (something like a typhoon), so unlike my original plans, I changed my entire Maui itinerary to a "hocance" (hotel vacation). Even so, the hotel's facilities were so excellent that they made up for the disappointment.

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach
This is one of the hotels that receives particularly a lot of love from Koreans in Waikiki.
As expected, the view is truly wonderful. haha

May
Cassia Sokcho—there were many disappointing aspects, but the view was definitely great.

JW Marriott Jeju,
It's a shame the weather was cloudy, but this place also has a very beautiful pool view.

I went to Flying Hog for the first time then, and it was delicious.

June
Fairmont Tokyo,
A hotel I highly recommend. A place where both hardware and software were perfect.

July
Grand Hyatt Seoul
In the summer, there's no place quite like this in Seoul. haha
Of course, some criticize it for being like a chaotic market, but if you utilize tier benefits, Hotelux, or various corporate codes, you can stay at a very reasonable price.

Park Hyatt Busan
This is the hotel that was the protagonist of my Busan travelogue, which was even selected as an excellent review in the bullpen.
Even though it was my first visit, they upgraded me to a suite, so I was able to fully enjoy the view of the Gwangan Bridge.

August
Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi
I've been to many hotels that are said to be good in the world, but this one is truly the ultimate in terms of hardware.
The problem is that the prices are out of this world, so if you eat without thinking, 500,000 KRW for one meal is nothing, but it's a hotel I definitely want to visit again.

September
Waldorf Astoria New York
The home base of Hilton! haha
It was great as expected... but because it overlapped with the UN General Assembly, it was crowded, so I couldn't get an upgrade and there were some inconveniences.
Still, I'd like to come back next time at a better time.

Conrad New York
I've been here before, and if you are more focused on sightseeing, I think this place has some advantages over the Waldorf.
True to the Conrad name, it is a well-rounded hotel.

I imagine all the hotels other than domestic ones would have given me key cards..
But I didn't take them because the key cards for these hotels weren't pretty.
I have also taken key cards after getting permission from staff before; I remember taking the key cards from the Hilton Bora Bora (now Conrad) because they were really beautiful.
Which hotels are memorable to you? I'm curious. ^^
Thank you for reading this long post,
and I hope you all have a pleasant National Foundation Day holiday. Thank you!
