Looking at MPark, it feels like a literal gladiator arena

‌Left wing vs. Right wing
Extreme Nationalism vs. Japan-worship
"I'm not left wing" = "Then you must be right wing"
"I'm not right wing" = "Then you must be left wing"
"I'm not a nationalist" = "Die, you Japan-worshipper"
"I'm not a Japan-worshipper" = "Die, you nationalist"
To maintain cognitive ease,
there are quite many people living their lives solely through black-and-white logic.
I browse through various sub-forums/categories,
and in the midst of that, the people fighting among themselves with some depth of knowledge
seem to be in the military category.
There are many highly knowledgeable people there too,
but if someone expresses a different view,
they start fighting, calling them "Russia-worshippers" or "Ukraine-worshippers."
And when topics related to the US economy come up,
it's "You're MAGA" or "No, you're not" lol.
Pretty much every category is just looking for a fight.
Perhaps because they have too much dignity to fight or vent their emotions in real life,
it seems they vent their emotions here lol.
But I wonder if they actually feel any better after fighting like that or gaining the upper hand.
