If an average corporate employee has Marriott Lifetime Platinum status, they're doing pretty well, right??

I understand that you have to maintain Platinum status for something like 10 years to become a Lifetime member, and I also know that just maintaining the Platinum status itself is incredibly difficult.
Unless you have a decent amount of money, it's generally impossible, right?
Even with a salary from a major corporation, it wouldn't be easy to manage...
