I think the problem is overestimating our national team's strength

With a ranking of 34th and being 3rd out of 4 teams in the group,
how can people think it's an unbelievable level that we couldn't make it to the Round of 32?
The World Cup results match exactly: 34th place and 3rd in the group.
With a 34th-place strength, the goal should naturally be advancing to the Round of 32, and since they failed to meet that goal, they deserve criticism.
But saying that being eliminated in the Round of 32 is a truly "unbelievable" result
is overestimating our strength by asking how we could produce such a result with a "golden generation."
Teams like Turkey and Uruguay performed unbelievably poorly compared to their strength, but our team's player level was never at a level where advancing to the Round of 32 could be taken for granted in the first place.
