People who used to live sober are now drinking excessively every day

It reminds me of the late baseball player Cho Seong-min.
I told him many times that drinking like that every day would only lead to bad things..
Two bottles of soju every single day..
After the divorce, when his ex-wife left and he was living with his girlfriend, how difficult and unfair must it have felt when all the world's criticism was directed at him.
Such a wasted talent; malicious comments were the cause.
