Review of Yang*hyuk Sashimi Restaurant in Guryongpo

Large Flounder: 130,000 KRW

Assorted Sashimi (Large): 110,000 KRW

Yesterday, after performing ancestral rites, I went to Guryongpo with my parents to get some fresh air. While we were there, we stopped by the restaurant owned by Yang*hyuk, a former baseball player, to have some sashimi.
Perhaps because it was a holiday, it was crowded with cafe customers (on the 2nd floor), but we managed to find a seat and go in.
After ordering the sashimi, this is what came out exactly 1 hour and 10 minutes later. They didn't even provide water, so we were getting it ourselves when the side dishes and spicy fish stew finally arrived. And the sashimi came out exactly 1 hour after that. They claim it's because it's crowded??
Well... that's not quite right. All the customers were staring at the kitchen. It wasn't just our table; the sashimi hadn't come out for other tables either. If things were going to be delayed, they should have told us when we walked in, but instead, they just threw a few side dishes at us and left us waiting indefinitely.
The service was a mess. The side dishes were worse than a local neighborhood sashimi shop. How can someone with a certain reputation run a business like this??
And look at this sashimi. Does this look like 110,000 or 130,000 KRW worth of food? When we asked how much we should order for five women and three men, they told us to just order two "Extra Large" sets.
We ended up leaving some of that behind even after paying a fortune.
I thought it would be fine if at least it tasted good, but after waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes, this is the sashimi we got.
I saw some terrible reviews online, but I had already ordered by the time I saw them, so I was already regretting coming here—and as expected, it was a disaster.
If you're going to run a business, prepare properly. Or at least apologize when things are running late. There wasn't even an apology from the time we arrived until we left. I understand being busy.
But are you the only one who is busy? I'm not just saying this for no reason.
If you get the chance, go visit. You'll never want to go a second time.
I don't know if the owner will see this, but please relearn the basics of business. Customers are not suckers.
