Buying running shoes from a large shopping mall

I bought them using mobile phone payment, but they didn't arrive even after a week, so I requested a refund.
Instead of a mobile payment cancellation, I received the money as cash in my bank account.
But then the shoes actually arrived lol
I cancelled because the price was so cheap I thought they might be fakes,
but does this kind of thing happen often?
