I feel proud that Korea is far superior to Japan in ball sports

‌A former Japanese baseball player, Ichiro, once made the absurd claim that Korea would not be able to challenge Japan for decades to come.
But look at the results now. We are winning consecutive gold medals in baseball and soccer by beating Japan. And now, basketball is following suit.
Isn't it actually the opposite, where Japan is now in a position where they can't even touch baseball or soccer for decades? Instead of feeling ashamed, they just keep talking nonsense—isn't that why a country fails?
Our fans also said we wouldn't be able to win gold because the coach is Lee Min-seong, right?
But we have achieved four consecutive gold medals, so you need to look at Coach Lee Min-seong in a new light. On the contrary, it looks like Japan's Oiwago(?) might get fired.
