Driven by strong semiconductor exports, South Korea's provisional export total for this month reached $71.4 billion, marking an all-time high for the first 20 days of a month.
The Korea Customs Service announced that exports for the 20-day period from the 1st to yesterday (the 20th) totaled $71.4 billion, an increase of 78.3% compared to the same period last September.
Considering the 15.5 working days, the average daily export value stood at approximately $4.6 billion, an 89.8% increase compared to the same period last September.
By product category, semiconductor exports accounted for 47.8% of total exports at $34.1 billion, a 259.4% increase compared to last year, marking an all-time high for the first 20 days of the month.
