Chicken prices "unmoved" despite plummeting poultry costs...
Lee: "I will look into it"

In response to criticisms that chicken prices are not decreasing despite the falling price of edible poultry (broilers),
President Lee Jae-myung stated that he would look into the matter.
As dissatisfaction grows regarding the price of chicken, a "national snack,"
attention is focused on whether the Blue House will intervene.
On the 30th, President Lee shared a link to an article regarding chicken prices on X (formerly Twitter),
stating, "Thank you for the good article. I will look into it."
There is a term called 'Mangi-chinram' (micromanagement).
A president cannot be involved in every single thing happening within the country.
Except for diplomacy and national defense, autonomy should be granted to the ministers of each department,
and the Prime Minister should alleviate the President's workload by overseeing the various ministers.
This is why the President is allowed to focus more on diplomacy and security.
Does the President really need to take an interest in a nation's chicken prices?
I hope he focuses on his fundamental duties as President.
