Cause of the Nepal Great Flood: GLOF (Glacial Lake Outburst Flood)

No translation in your language yet — showing the English version

There are many lakes in the form of dams, held back by sediment or ice, where melted glacier water accumulates in areas like the Tibetan Plateau, Nepal, and Bhutan. It is said that as glaciers continue to melt, these dams burst, releasing massive amounts of sediment and water all at once.
It is called a Glacier Lake Outburst Flood (GLOF), and if you search for it, you can find many similar videos.
