Seeing Samsung and Hynix salaries rivaling doctors' makes me feel how much times have changed

Up until 2004 - 2016
(Excluding 2008-2009, only true elites from the 48th-49th batches joined)
There was a time when almost no one majoring in electronic engineering
couldn't get into Samsung or Hynix
And many students from regional engineering colleges,
including ERICA, Kwangwoon, and Inha Universities,
joined via bypass routes and are now
holding positions at the department head level..
Seeing their salaries rivaling doctors' these days, it really shows how much the world has changed.
