What's the deal with college students who travel abroad every single vacation?

I have a friend who is a college student
and goes on an overseas trip every single vacation.
And it's not just places like Japan, China, or Southeast Asia;
they go to Europe for 2-4 weeks at a time,
visit Egypt and Jordan,
go to Canada and the US,
and even go to Norway for trekking..
They wear clothes from Solid Homme and Moncler,
use a Gucci card...
What kind of people are they?
They don't even work part-time jobs; does money just sprout from their house or something..
