It's funny seeing people cursing about Japan's changing tax-free regulations lol

Originally, tax exemption was applied immediately when buying goods in Japan, but starting in November, it will change to a system where you pay the tax-inclusive price first and get a refund when departing.
But looking at Instagram or internet comments, it's full of people cursing, saying things like, "Are they doing this on purpose so we don't get tax exemptions?" or "This is a stupid, underdeveloped country policy" lol
Korea has been using this method for a long time...
They could have just ended it with "It's a shame it's more inconvenient than before," but I don't get why they feel the need to add weird comments, cursing at Japan only to end up self-dissing Korea as well lol
