There are two disappointing aspects of the drama "New Recruit" (Spoilers included)

1. Lee Su-ji
It feels like the character is meant to dispel fantasies about female soldiers, but she has no actual purpose in the story..
2. Imagination scenes
The imagination scenes are unnecessarily long. It felt like they were just mimicking a cook (I knew it was an imagination scene when the battalion commander was running laps, but it was way too long)
