Code of Ethics stipulates that anyone who becomes aware of
a violation of the code of ethics by a party member, etc.,
may report it to the Ethics Inspection Team, and
once the Ethics Inspection Team investigates the facts
and confirms the violation, it can take necessary
measures such as requesting disciplinary action.

Democratic Party members have quite specific obligations.
As of 2026, Article 6, Paragraph 2 of the Party Constitution
specifies seven duties of a party member:
The duty to follow the party's platform and basic policies;
The duty to comply with the party constitution and rules and follow the party line and party name;
The duty to support candidates for public elections recommended by the party;
The duty to observe the code of ethics;
The duty to undergo education and training conducted by the party;
The duty of rights-holding members to pay party dues;
