Isn't asking for a number when someone is handsome the best way to meet people?

Assuming I am a handsome man in my 30s
At work or through blind dates at social gatherings,
you usually end up meeting women around your own age,
but if you have the looks, you can even ask for the number of a woman 10 years younger.
Honestly, I feel like if you're handsome, asking for their number is the best way to go.
