Experience the scale of this year's fireworks festival crowds (338,000 people)
As a side note, the crowd size recorded at this year's Seoul International Fireworks Festival was 338,000. Originally, the police did not conduct separate actual measurements for the Seoul Fireworks Festival, but I heard they did so for the first time this year.
This figure of approximately 340,000 is an actual estimate conducted by the police of the number of people gathered in the main event areas, including Yeouido Hangang Park.
The police initially predicted that up to 530,000 people would gather on the day of the festival, but the actual number of people present was approximately 340,000. Since this was the first time an actual measurement was taken, it doesn't mean the crowd decreased compared to previous years; rather, it shows that what we thought was a crowd of 1 million is actually around this amount.
In the past, claims that 1 million or 1.2 million people gathered for the Seoul Fireworks Festival were likely symbolic figures provided by the organizers, representing the total sum of everyone watching the fireworks in the surrounding areas.
You can simply understand that a crowd of about 340,000 looks like that.
