Is Mounjaro definitely effective for diabetes?

Since I am also managing diabetes,
I am currently taking low-dose medication.
I am curious if Mounjaro is as effective
for diabetes as it is for weight loss.
If the effects are noticeably good,
I am thinking about switching from my current medication
to try and lose some weight as well... haha
