I have been watching pharmaceutical and shipbuilding stocks for a few months now

Aside from the stocks I was already invested in,
I have been quite interested in these for a while.
I've been watching them for a few months to see how things play out
before committing to serious investment,
but they seem so difficult that I find it hard to pull the trigger.
It feels so daunting that I'm even wondering if I should just give up.
