Canadian pension funds, German pension funds, Morgan Stanley... they are all sensing the money overseas and moving in.
This reminds me of when I lived in Japan.
When I started my first job, my salary was 240,000 yen, and after taxes, I had 200,000 yen left, but the rent for a single room where I could only lie down was 100,000 yen.
I couldn't understand why people living in regional Japan were all moving up to Tokyo to do the same thing. And when I moved out, they charged me 50,000 yen to repair the flooring damaged by moisture under the refrigerator.
It feels like hell is about to begin. Well, of course, once people get used to it, they'll just live like slaves as they always have, so it might be fine.
