Why do reporters yell in top-recommended posts?

‌Isn't the role of a reporter
to satisfy the public's right to know,
rather than to judge and yell at people?
I agree that they should ask persistent questions and verify facts,
but why the yelling?
I can't help but wonder if they are just trying to enjoy a bit of power through their pens...
There are so many "trash journalists" these days... seeing them act like that just creates resentment.
