Lately, when women look at men's appearances, they are looking for "tofu-faced" (soft/kind-looking) handsome men far too often. It's almost like a universal preference.
But the problem is, most of those men have incredibly high standards—their eyes are set way up at the top.
(Because their outward impression is soft,) they look to women like men who are just within reach if they only extend a hand, but the reality is very different.
So the manager said they feel a bit sorry for them lol
