I am from Seoul, and my psychological residential limit is around Suwon

There is a post asking why people don't want to move to the provinces.
I was born and raised in Seoul—through elementary, middle, and high school, military service, and university—and I am currently living in some new city in southern Gyeonggi Province.
Honestly, this level is quite livable. ㅜㅜ
If something comes up, I can get to Seoul in no time. My parents are in Seoul too, so... if something comes up, I can be there quickly. To be honest, it's much faster and easier to get to Gangnam than to Nodu-gang (Nowon, Dobong, Gangbuk).
But being told to live even further south of this southern limit... ㅜㅜ that's something that causes a lot of hesitation. That is my honest feeling.
It's not that major provincial cities are bad.
It's the fear of the unknown.
The psychological fear of being far away from my family home.
I think those are the big factors.
All that talk about "Seoul has better infrastructure" or "Seoul has a better cultural life"...
That's all bullshit.
Living without those things isn't a problem at all.
It's just a vague sense of fear.
In fact, there are tons of Seoulites who say they hate or find the provinces uncomfortable based solely on assumptions without ever having lived there.
Even though they would probably do just fine if they actually stayed.
Just like in the military lol (I served in Gangwon-do and did very well).
