Lowest social classes = Pro-Japanese collaborators, religious figures, Zainichi Koreans, anti-communists
Kim Il-sung's mother = Kang Pan-sok, whose name is the female version of Peter. A very devout Christian.
Kim Il-sung's father = An unlicensed doctor who was an anti-communist; communists refused to treat him, and he eventually died at the hands of communists.
Kim Jong-un's maternal grandfather = A pro-Japanese collaborator who supplied uniforms to the Japanese military in Jeolla Province.
Kim Jong-un's mother = Of Zainichi Korean descent. She couldn't even fix her Japanese accent, so they couldn't even idolize her in documentary films.
Yet, it is a contradictory situation where they are worshipped as the "Paektu Bloodline."
