‌I agree that the content of Assassins is worth criticizing
I also agree that it is garbage
But rather than saying the left wing turned it into propaganda,
it feels more like the director watched something like 12.12: The Day, leaned heavily into conspiracy theories, and made a commercial film.
It doesn't seem like the director has engaged in any particular leftist activities before this either.
