New Jeonnam Medical School Selected for Suncheon University, Right Next to Gwangju and Hwasun

I have no idea what they are thinking..
One moment they're saying Jeonnam doesn't have a medical school,
but Chonnam National University has a medical school campus and a cancer hospital in Hwasun. It doesn't even overlap with Gwangju.
And now they're picking Suncheon, right next to Hwasun, for another Jeonnam medical school..
Aren't Gwangju and Jeonnam integrated?.. What is this.. just to suck up the budget..
They should have just created a Suncheon campus for Chonnam National University's medical school.
If it were somewhere far away like Mokpo, I might at least understand,
but in the end, they just want to stay close because they don't want to leave the Gwangju living zone..
