Isn't Shim Soo-bong just being a hypocrite?

Looking at Namuwiki,
there is a video clearly showing her performing half-heartedly on stage.
Yet she goes on about her life story and how much she has suffered..
It seems she just has an extremely strong pride in her own music.
Separately (strictly my personal opinion),
about two of Kim Da-hyun's performances weren't that great either.
I couldn't even tell if it was trot... Since she's young, I don't know if the songs were written to be bright/cheerful to suit her age, but..
Anyway, it seems that old lady Shim Soo-bong has such strong pride in her own music that
she doesn't like dance trot or things like that.
Based on her comments, she seems to prefer music like "A Woman of Sorrowful Fate."
It just occurred to me that Cho Yong-pil is freaking amazing.
The "King of Singers" who used to shout "Kilimanjaro"
is now attempting music like "Bounce"...
