Things that make me feel women are truly arrogant .txt

I don't know if I should view this as arrogance
or if I should say they don't know how to be grateful.
There are many instances, but a representative one I feel is:
'When a man who is absolutely perfect by my standards/eye level (mostly regarding looks)
confesses that he likes me,
instead of just rejecting him and ending it there,
they react like:
"I'm shocked that someone like him likes me"
"My self-esteem is dropping"
"Was I really only this kind of woman?"
...they show these kinds of reactions.
It's rare for them to do this openly in front of the man,
but at the very least, most of them feel this way deep down.
What I find so ridiculous is that
regardless of gender or how good-looking someone is,
the standard or eye level for what one considers "handsome" or "pretty" and finds attractive
is actually more or less the same.
In other words, the women that an ugly man or a handsome man finds beautiful and attractive are more or less the same,
and the same applies if you switch the gender to women.
But usually, in the case of men
(though it is more universally rare than the female case),
if a woman who doesn't meet their standards confesses,
the vast majority just reject her and end it there.
I've never seen or heard anyone say things like "my self-esteem is dropping."
Rather, considering what I mentioned earlier—
that the standard for judging the opposite sex is more or less the same regardless of one's own looks—
it is much more common for them to think, "Even though she's not my type, the fact that she likes me as a man means my looks are somewhat effective," and feel good about it internally, or
at the very least, to feel grateful, thankful, and satisfied with the fact that someone likes them.
But (most) women really...
It's as if the man confessing to them is an immediate indicator of their own social rank.
They make this strange substitution, don't feel grateful or happy at all, and instead get depressed, and I don't understand why they act like that.
(This is based on the premise that in both male and female cases, they just confess, get rejected, and cleanly back off. I am not talking about cases where they keep pestering or stalking afterward.)
Why do they act this way?
Or is that kind of reaction from women normal, and it's actually men who are strange?
