Curious about the "one order per person" rule at dog cafes...
My daughter and 3 of her friends, so 4 of us in total.
This dog cafe is a place you can visit even if you don't have a dog, since there are about 10 dogs in the shop.
We go about twice a month, so we're sort of regulars.
When the female owner was there, whenever our family went, we would order Jja-gye-chi (ramen with black bean sauce, egg, and cheese), spaghetti, fried rice, and 3 drinks, and there were never any issues.
But this time, the male owner was there,
and we ordered 2 Jja-gye-chi, one whole chicken, and 4 drinks, but since they have a "one menu item per person" rule,
when I asked if one whole chicken counts as two servings, he replied, "Jja-gye-chi is a side menu item." T_T So we ended up having to order tteokbokki as well.
Looking at other tables, they were only ordering drinks.
I thought they were nice people... but I don't think I'll go back.
