Samsung Electronics will not, and cannot, conduct share cancellations

Due to governance issues, Samsung Electronics will neither force share cancellations nor be able to do so. Furthermore, since paying dividends is something the current administration favors from a tax revenue perspective, do not expect any share cancellations.
