Being overly conscious of others is the biggest problem
Even just meeting people in your neighborhood, it's like that.
If someone else goes on a trip, you feel you must go too.
If someone else buys luxury goods, you feel you must follow suit.
If someone else changes their car, you want to change yours.
If someone else buys stocks, you want to trade stocks too.
Being dragged along by others like this is the biggest problem.
You should be able to do what you want based on your own principles.
But instead, you walk on eggshells around others, getting easily offended by a single comment, or forcing yourself to show up because you're afraid they'll badmouth you if you stay away.
It's this accumulation of things that leads to burnout.
Ultimately, you should pour everything into your own growth;
trying to chase after others will only lead to unhappiness.
In the end, invest in yourself—whether it's a house, a car, travel, or clothes.
Don't follow others; just do what you want to do.
You won't have any regrets.
