Is there anyone else who hates community slang?

Whether online or offline, using community slang makes a person seem shallow and incredibly frivolous.
What I mean is that community slang is focused solely on being "entertaining."
For instance, even when having a serious conversation, if a community term like "sudden ejaculation without arousal" suddenly pops up, it completely kills the mood.
