I work for a local public enterprise; should I try for a central public enterprise?

I am currently working at a public enterprise in Busan, which I luckily got to work at just 5 minutes away from my home.
During my job search, I thought I would stay here until the day I die as long as I got hired, but
now that I'm actually working, I'm feeling a sense of disillusionment because the salary is smaller than I expected.
Some people receive bonuses of 100 or 150 million won, but we get at most 10 million won,
so I've been looking for a new job out of frustration.
Moving to the private sector seems difficult now, so the only places I could realistically go to
are major central public enterprises like KEPCO or KHNP..
Back when I was job hunting, I actually passed the written exam for KHNP, but I didn't attend the interview because of my current company..
However, I heard that major public enterprises involve rotational shifts and have a heavy workload.
I am conflicted.
Currently, I wake up at 8:00 AM, wash up, eat breakfast,
leave at 8:50 AM, walk for 5 minutes to arrive at work, have a cup of coffee,
and the workload is quite relaxed.
When it hits 6:00 PM, I head home and I'm back by 6:05 PM... and the company's
public image is very good in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region.
Do you think it is worth challenging myself for a major public enterprise even if I have to give up all these advantages??
