Do elderly people dislike ramen??

I went to Fukuoka with my parents
and visited the very famous Ichiran Ramen main branch.
Both of my parents said it was too greasy for them to eat and kept asking if there was any kimchi ㅠㅠ
They both left more than half of their bowls.
But I thought it was so delicious ㅠㅠ
Do elderly people generally not like ramen, or are my parents just unusual?
Come to think of it, it felt like there weren't many elderly Japanese people in ramen shops...
Whether in Korea or Japan, do people usually stop liking ramen as they get older?
