I'm looking to buy an air conditioner/heater; would Carrier perform exactly the same as LG under the same conditions?

I need an air conditioner/heater, but I found that they are quite expensive to buy.
If they are in the same class, is there really no difference in performance?
I would like to hear the professional opinion of an industry expert.
In my mind, the idea that LG is the leader in home appliances is deeply ingrained, so... ㅠㅠ
Since the price is so high, I am debating whether to buy a Carrier unit, which is several hundred thousand won cheaper.
However, if there is a difference in performance, I will pay more and go with LG.
Since laypeople don't know much about these things...
