As an alternative school graduate, I believe alternative schools are a good option in their own way.

‌Since I am a graduate of an alternative school, let me share my thoughts on them.
I won't deny that these are schools where students who couldn't commit to traditional school life or struggled to adapt often go.
However, I don't believe that going to an alternative school means your life is ruined.
First of all, you must research the school very thoroughly before enrolling.
You must go to a school that is officially accredited by the Office of Education.
Unaccredited schools tend to have higher tuition, and students have to take the GED (qualification exam) separately.
I graduated from a Catholic alternative school accredited by the Office of Education (you'll find it if you search for it).
While there is a lot of freedom, it doesn't mean you stop studying altogether.
I've even experienced everything an alternative school has to offer, including dating.
Anyway, getting back to the point,
While alternative schools are generally expensive, I believe schools with solid systems are worth the investment.
I hope people don't view alternative schools too negatively.
For starters, there are many trips and experiential learning opportunities, and there is freedom regarding hair and dress codes.
If I have children and am financially stable, I would be willing to send them to an alternative school.
However, it is truly a shame that many people still hold prejudices against alternative schools.
I hope the day comes when graduating from an alternative school is nothing to be ashamed of.
