But is the price of rice really that much of a burden?

People are making a huge fuss about how much the price of 20kg of rice has gone up,
but I don't see how that's a big deal. It doesn't seem like it's even increasing by more than 20,000 won.
Honestly, it doesn't look like much of a problem; it just looks like people are overreacting.
I wouldn't know if it were for truly impoverished people, but doesn't the government provide rice for those people?
And besides, how much rice do people even eat these days?
